This provides your clinician with a baseline to identify basic problems with the heart, lungs or signs. A full set of clinical observations annually includes assessment of:
– Blood pressure
– Blood oxygen saturation
– Heart rate
– Temperature

Our 30-minute consultation with a senior medical doctor gives you time to discuss your concerns, medical history and lifestyle. Your consultation includes:
1) Medical history
2) Clinical examination

Your doctor will then assess your suitability for TRT and discuss the most appropriate treatment options. Once your plan is established, you’ll have a review every 4 months, either in person or online, to monitor your progress and optimise your treatment.

ECGs are vital markers of cardiac health. An ECG, also known as a heart trace, gives your clinician an understanding of the rhythm of your heart and its pace. This allows us to identify underlying heart abnormalities which may increase your risk of strokes and collapses. The rate of your heart can also act as a surrogate marker for overall cardiac health.
This is performed annually with the ASCEND plan.

At Karma, we do not use outdated and simplistic metrics such as Body Mass Index. Instead, our body composition scanner gives you an in-depth understanding of your body from “bad” fat around the waist and body fat percentage to water retention and muscle mass.
This scan is performed at each clinic visit however will be performed at least annually for our remote clients if requested with the ASCEND plan.

An ECHOcardiogram is a ultrasound-based scan of the heart. This is a non-invasive procedure during which gel is applied to your chest wall and a probe is used to look at the health of the heart muscle, valves and surrounding areas. This is considered to be one of the most accurate tests to look at the health of the heart and is used in hospitals globally.

This scan will be performed annually with the ASCEND plan.
