Core markers of your health

Men’s Health

Bloodwork

Routine blood testing is one of the most effective and reliable methods for understanding the body’s health. Our clinicians can screen your health, assess individual biomarkers, investigate specific symptoms or observe the health of your gut.

Prior to the test, you will be informed by the clinic whether there are any additional steps you need to take. Some tests require abstaining from eating and drinking (except water) for up to 12 hours, whilst others require you to stop taking certain medications. Please ensure you stay well hydrated prior to your appointment and wear clothing that will provide easy access to the upper arm.

Blood is typically drawn from a blood vessel in the wrist or inner arm. A tight band (tourniquet) will be placed around the upper arm to encourage mild swelling of the vein. If you find needles or blood tests difficult, please inform our experienced clinicians so they can keep you as comfortable as possible.

The test should take no longer than 10 minutes. Your sample will be sent to our expert partner laboratory who will conduct rigorous analysis. Following review from one of our clinicians, you will receive your blood test results within 5 working days.

Blood panels can be conducted as standalone tests or as part of a Karma+ programme.
